Tortuguero

You can only reach Tortuguero by boat or plane. The parks wildly romantic canal landscape is home to Waterfowl, Howler Monkeys, Toucans, Parrots, Sloth’s and many more species. The sandy beach of the sometimes-rough Caribbean Sea offers one of the few remaining nesting sites for several species of Sea Turtles.

Esquinas

The Esquinas National Park, also known as the rainforest of the Austrians, is situated in the northeastern part of the region Golfo Dulce. With the help of donations – mainly coming from Austrians – the endangered rainforest is purchased. Part of the money raised is also used to fund and maintain the Esquinas Lodge and the La Gamba biological research station.

Corcovado

The peninsula de Osa in the south of Costa Rica hosts one of the most diversified regions on the earth, the Corcovado national park. More than 500 different species of tropical trees and a huge wild population of the endangered Great Green Macaw can be found in this conservation area. We recommend travelling to this National Park by light aircraft and in the company of a nature guide who is familiar with this region.

Selva Bananito

At the Selva Bananito Eco-Lodge you will have nature and adventure experiences surrounded by one of the most beautiful regions of the Caribbean side of Costa Rica, the Talamanca Mountains. The private reserve is an ecologically important buffer zone and transition area to the 'La Amistad' National Park, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983.

Maquenque

Maquenque Costa Rica Eco Lodge is ideal for lovers of nature. It is strategically located within Maquenque National Wildlife Refuge, bordering the San Carlos River. There are 14 bungalows equipped with: hot water (via solar panels), private bathroom, ceiling fan, closet, balcony with a beautiful view of the lagoon.
